Heyday

Project: Design a custom zombie glass for an open air bar and restaurant in the center of Waikiki. Heyday serves up tropical cocktails and island-inspired dishes in a playful setting with vintage charm.

We were tasked with capturing the vintage flair and poolside vibes of Heyday by illustrating various elements from around the White Sands Hotel venue. The iconic swing set bar (O’ahu’s one and only) is flanked by illustrations of a Lono tiki carving, swaying cocoa palms, lush tropical plants, imbibing petroglyph-style patrons, and bronzed pool guests under a blazing sun. The dark teal, aqua, antique gold, and frost etch color scheme pays homage to the 1960s aesthetic of the hotel and bar.
