DreamWorks | She-Ra and the Princesses of Power

For International Women's Day (IWD), DreamWorks Animation wanted to reminding girls around the world they have the power to achieve. Ambition, courage, perseverance - girls have many super powers, and these qualities are awesome and something to always strive for. DreamWorks Animation’s She-Ra and the Princesses of Power deals with all of these themes and couples them with the challenges and frustrations of growing as a person, learning from failure, dealing with fear and rejection, and complicated responsibilities. This makes it the perfect tie-in for 2019’s IWD messaging of “Balance for Better." To help realize this tie-in, we created several downloadable and printable activities including a Hero Guide that introduces the main characters while also providing discussion starters, a large-scale labyrinth game, and a cup stacking game that emphasizes teamwork and the importance of community.
