San Joaquin Area Flood Control Agency (SJAFCA)

Project: The San Joaquin Area Flood Control Agency (SJAFCA) is a Joint Powers Authority that was created in May 1995 between the City of Stockton, San Joaquin County and the San Joaquin County Flood Control and Water Conservation District for the purpose of addressing flood protection for the City of Stockton and surrounding county area. The previous brand consisted primarily of a single dated logo with virtually no supporting look and feel. The client desired a new, modernized logo and branding system with several logo variations that can represent the brand across a wide variety of materials and applications. Beyond the new branding, design tasks have included fact sheets, mailers, newsletters, property assessment ballots and supporting materials, request for funds documents, strategic plan design, employment brochure, and more.
